Presenting "Dark Universe", a wall art that is inspired by our fascination with the universe while incorporating Fuchsia Art Studio's trademark colors!
Filled with mysteries and unknown, the universe is a contradiction of extremes with order amongst chaos and the most vibrant of lights amidst some of the darkest space. We strived to capture its greatness through a combination of pitch black pigment against vibrant metallic fuchsia and black texture spots that served as remnants of asteroids and scattered planets. Homemade crushed glass and glitters adorned both the jagged texture spots and black resin surfaces, imitating the stars and the supernovas. Metallic fuchsia foil lines were hand applied and sealed, providing the accent against the abyss that is beyond our known universe.
Contrary to our usual approach, we minimized the variety of colors on this statement piece and instead chose to focus on the texture and contrast between fuchsia and black, thereby creating a statement piece that would serve the purpose of showcasing a corner of our incredible universe. "Dark Universe" first debuted at Art San Diego and was a great conversation piece for both astronomy lovers and art aficionados alike.
